Rehearsal Cue Runtime Calculator
Add cue durations and transitions for a rehearsal run.
Method and input definitions
Runtime seconds = cue count × average seconds per cue + transitions × seconds per transition. Enter the transitions that actually occur; there is no automatic extra transition after the final cue.
Worked example
Forty cues averaging 18 seconds, with 39 transitions of 12 seconds, run 40 × 18 + 39 × 12 = 1,188 seconds, or 19 minutes 48 seconds.
Assumptions and limits
This adds user-entered durations only. Notes, holds, audience response, scene changes not entered as transitions, and restart work are not inferred.
Inputs are bounded to finite values shown in the form. Displayed results are rounded for readability (probability percentages and proportion fractions to four, other measures to two decimal places); whole-count outputs remain exact. A changed field clears a prior result so an outdated estimate is not presented as current.
